COMMERCIAL JOB TITLE: Senior Principal Consultant
MINIMUM/GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 10 years client interaction experience with a minimum of 10 years hands on experience supporting and troubleshooting LAN/WAN/MAN environments as a successful Network Engineer/Consultant. Includes hands-on experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting and support of said environment. Ability to demonstrate expert level abilities and receive acknowledgement as subject matter experts from their peers and clients. Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN systems. Industry leading knowledge/experience in multiple technical specialties (i.e. Network management systems, Security, Remote Access, High performance backbone technologies (e.g. ATM, Gigabit Ethernet), High performance WAN switching (e.g. Stratacom), SNA mainframe integration (e.g. CIP), Voice, Video, Internet firewalls).
FUNCIONAL RESPONSIBILITY: Provides strategic policy and implementation advisory services to Senior Managers within agencies and provide technical direction and overall guidance to contractor program teams as they execute assignments. Capable of weighing multifaceted problems and their proposed solutions, resolving anomalies between and among possible solutions, then presenting a recommended solution to senior Ordering Activity personnel that combines the best attributes of all original options. The ability to assess technology, develop business cases, and establish an end-to-end program to implement where the impact can be measured in tens of millions of dollars and the complexity of the project is measured in hundreds of professional staff.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Advanced Degree in mathematics, computer science, science, business, social sciences, or similar academic field; and/or at least 5 years subject matter experience. Bachelor’s degree in similar field plus at least 10 years experience can substitute for the master's degree. Should possess CCIE and/or CISSP certification.
COMMERCIAL JOB TITLE: Principal Consultant

CCIE or equivalent, capable of solving extremely complex problems requiring an evaluation of intangible variance factors.
FUNCIONAL RESPONSIBILITY: Resolves technical issues with an understanding of clients’ business environment and practices. Take on project management and technical design leadership responsibilities and assist in the development of staff. Display leadership abilities in the development of strategy deliverables as well as analysis, design, build and implementation deliverables. Effectively manage project tasks and teams, prepare/deliver presentations, provide guidance and direction to junior consultants, and contribute to the improvement of the practice.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline + 2 years experience or equivalent experience and expert knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks and applications. LAN/WAN background, hands-on experience with NAA work, have detailed application and network background. Solid VPN implementation and security policy writing, implementation for large-scale enterprise networks, CISSP or other certification.
